Oh yeah, the badass spaceships from Civ II where you built modules (engine, habitat, support, power, etc.). If a rival civ built a space ship with four habitation and support modules, but say only half the engine modules... you could in theory build one with only one or two habitation and support modules but all of the engine modules. This way you had less mass, but more thrust so you would have a shorter trip to Alpha Centauri. You wouldn't get as much points for sending only 10k-20k colonists instead of 40k, but who cares when you get there first? I remember alot of games rush building parts and trying to find the balance. Then sending a massive invasion force to burn down the other Civ's capital. Those were the days.

I think I miss all the folks who have forsaken SMAC for the time being

Actually, I can't use my arrow keys. I have a laptop. I have to jump through all kinds of hoops to use the keyboard, and everything is so weird with the Fn key, that it's just not worth it.
        I don't know what I've been told!

I turn the FN key off, personally
But my Laptop runs Freeciv, not Civilization IV - the control set is probably different.

gdijedi is on a thread diggin' mission!!
While there might be a physics engine that applies to the jugs, I doubt that an entire engine was written specifically for the funbags. - Cyclotron - debating the pressing issue of boobies in games.

It was a little joke regarding the fact that you had rejuvenated 2 threads that were old in one day. This one and another one where Enigma asked who dug up the thread.

                that's all.

It's cool. nothing wrong with it, just thought it was funny at the time...

                  A Thread Digging mission:
Step 1: Find something on page 3 or later, and bump it.
                  Step 2: Goto 1

                  Freeciv:
An ICS-Spammin' spamfest with crappy AI and no "Change all production" button.
We have a forum about it down near other games.

Um, sorry. I didn't mean to. I guess that would be funny.

I thread dug without meaning to! Am I good, or what?

Can I rejuvenate the one about archers killing modern armor too?
                    Guess I'd better not.

Maybe I'll make one about how SAM infantry are evil...

                      That IS good!!

It actually can be a darned good thing. Some good threads that fade away should be bumped.

                      Never feel bad for digging!!
