Has anyone tried using 3D analyze emulator? Did it work? Would there be any patch on this?

I have an Intel integrated graphics card and mine runs pretty smoothly. I play mostly on small or lower, since it gets bogged down in the endgame on normal or above.

        2.0ghz
        512 ram
        int. gfx up to 128

Yes. I have a 1.5 ghz 512 mb RAM acer laptop and works pretty good. Of course don't try to play on large maps
I will never understand why some people on Apolyton find you so clever. You're predictable, mundane, and a google-whore and the most observant of us all know this. Your battles of "wits" rely on obscurity and whenever you fail to find something sufficiently obscure, like this, you just act like a 5 year old. Congratulations, molly.

I haven't bought Civ IV yet but here are my laptop specs--what does anyone else think?

              Inspiron 9300
              Pentium M 750 (1.86GHz/533 MHz)
              1 GB DDR2
              80 GB ATA Hardrive
              256 MB NVIDIA 6800

                It'll work almost assuredly.

The Intel Integrated 900(GMA900) wich are included in many Laptop based on the centrino chipset.(Chipset 915 and +) works well with Civ4.

I have an Acer laptop; PentiumM 1.5(overclocked at 1.8ghz - ), 512ram with the Intel GMA 900 and it work real smooth until i come at the modern world where is a little choppy. But its really playable. The only thing I need to buy is more ram memory.

                  good luck.

And it seem to doesn't work on any previous intel integrated than the GMA900.

BUT, I like playing on LARGE maps with at LEAST a dozen civilizations.

You still think the same in this case?

I don't think you will have any problems. The video card's the key with the newer laptops and your's is fine.

By contrast I'm running it on a Dell D800 which has a 64mb FxGo5200. It's a little slow but I have 2gb ram which also helps.

This is exactly my "subminimal" video card. I can accept the game running slow on Large maps, etc. (and this would explain 64MB being the min), but none of this explains the many ingame crashes around about Midieval times reported on many above rec video platforms...

Ok -- but remember that I only have 1 GB ram.

All the post i've seen so far, (on apolyton and civfanatics) was people having trouble with the others intel integrated graphics cards.

But I'm aware that people who have the game working don't post into forum. But there was nobody at this day, who told us the game was working on his Intel Integrated(extreme 1 or 2, 865 or less). The people reports the black terrain issue over the 865.

If you have this card, good luck to get this game working.
