That's right -- I refuse to conform to the Martian pagan cult.

Ok, just for you guys I studied Swahili this evening, it's not perfect will it will do for now.

That Martian thing is really paying off.

      CHORUS
      Baba yetu, Yesu uliye
      Mbinguni yetu, Yesu, amina!
      Baba yetu, Yesu, uliye
      Jina lako litukuzwe.
      (x2)

      Utupe leo chakula chetu
      Tunachohitaji utusamehe
      Makosa yetu, hey!
      Kama nasi tunavyowasamehe
      Waliotukosea usitutie
      Katika majaribu, lakini
      Utuokoe, na yule, milelea milele!

      CHORUS

      Ufalme wako ufike utakalo
      Lifanyike duniani kama mbinguni. (Amina)

      CHORUS

      Utupe leo chakula chetu
      Tunachohitaji utusamehe
      Makosa yetu, hey!
      Kama nasi tunavyowasamehe
      Waliotukosea usitutie
      Katika majaribu, lakini
      Utuokoe, na yule, simama mwehu

      Baba yetu, Yesu, uliye
      Jina lako litukuzwe.
      (x2)

      CHORUS
      Our Father, Jesus, who art
      in Heaven. Amen!
      Our Father, Jesus
      Hallowed be thy name.
      (x2)

Give us this day our daily bread,
      Forgive us of
      our trespasses
      As we forgive others
      Who tresspass against us
Lead us not into temptation, but
deiver us from Evil, and you are forever and ever!

      CHORUS

Thy kingdom come, thy will be done
On Earth as it is in Heaven. (Amen)

      CHORUS

Give us this day our daily bread,
      Forgive us of
      our trespasses
      As we forgive others
      Who tresspass against us
Lead us not into temptation, but
deiver us from Evil, and you wake the dead (?)

      Our Father, Jesus who art...
      Hallowed be thy name.
      (x2)

      For the heathen among us:
Okay, well, Firaxis has released the Opening Soundtrack - Baba Yetu - to Civ4 already, and it's a pretty catchy tune (at least, to me). When I tried to find the lyrics, I got really stuck. Christopher Tin (the composer) appears to have mixed around the words of "The Lord's Prayer". "Baba...

btw: MrFun, racoons are to us Martian pagans what angels are to Catholics, there simply is no escaping.
Is God willing to prevent evil, but not able? Then he is not omnipotent. Is he able, but not willing? Then he is malevolent. Is he both able and willing? Then whence cometh evil? Is he neither able nor willing?
Then why call him God? - Epicurus

It's for your own good, they told me so, thus it must be true.
