Okay so apparantly I had a misconception of how things worked. I thought that all gold produced by city tiles went to science/treasury after being modified by libraries, and then all income from trade, specialists, and shrines went directly to the treasury after being modified by markets. Now I'm told that all gold from all sources goes to the treasury/science, and that those amounts are then modified by markets/libraries. For example:
A city makes 100 gold. 25 from tiles, 25 from specialists, 25 from shrine, and 25 from trade. There is a market and a library. So, from what I understand, if the science slider is set to 90%, then 90 gold + 25% from library will go to science, and 10 gold + 25% from market goes to the treasury?
Or is it this: 90% science * 25 gold from city tiles + 25% from library goes to science, while 75 gold from other sources + 10% of 25 gold from city tiles, all that plus 25% from market, goes to treasury?
