I kind of like the Civ4 wonder movies. The only bad thing is that they are all the same, so they lose appeal quickly, but they are short enough that I do watch them while I skipped them in Civ2 after awhile.

As for people who want to make new movies or use the Civ2 movies, read this thread: http://apolyton.net/forums/showthrea...hreadid=141028

Gives a step by step way of how to do it. You of course need a copy of Civ2 for the wonder movies to add in. I guess you could make your own wonder movies, but I think that would take more time and effort than you would think.

Oh yeah, the Domination Victory movie rocks, culture was pretty good, space race movie was disappointing. Considering Civ3 never had wonder movies I am very happy.

I am not the same person since Civ II movies have been removed and I also collapsed when I saw splash screenies of civ III instead of the magic atmosphere given by gorgeous civ II wonder movies.

I still have to buy civ IV ( I wait at least the first patch ) but I have a pretty close idea on what they should be now, certainly better than before but nothing to share with the " atmosphere factor " of civ 2.

I would change them , but I doubt I will be able to recover from the past my old copy of civ II .

Beeing them useless without a copy of civ,IMO it would be a great idea to have those movies rarred somewhere to download and insert.

Ive not seen all the wonder movies yet, but I like the ones I have seen. Simple and to the point, they give an idea of what the thing you are building was supposed to look like before it is shrunk down to fit on the main map.

I really liked the domination win movie, brought a smile to my face after all my hard work winning the game in time
