Anybody remember the rush to patch Civ III? Firaxis put something out, and it was the WRONG patch. Less than 24 hours later they issued the CORRECT one, but it had the same patch number as the first one. You had to deinstall Civ III then reinstall the CORRECT patch. But how did you know if you had the correct one when they had the same number?

I hope the QA/QC processes have improved now, and that they take their time getting it right. I don't have the game but it will need a patch, it's inevitable. Developers/testers these days just don't debug as well as in the past. Coding/testing is the most costly part of ANY software development and I guess they just don't want cost/time overruns. It makes me steam a little as my first coding job was for avionics systems in aircraft and you made pretty damn sure your code was documented, coded & tested to death!

In the UK we get "Winterval", "the holiday period", and "Winterfest". You hear of "Christmas" less and less each year, as the powers that be deem it offensive to minorities.

Very true. Saying, “Holidays”, is an American trying to be politically correct.. Do not want to leave anyone out. You know we have the Leonid meteor shower this month; I do not want to leave the Leonid’s out.

Uhm, pictures is under Control Panel> Options. Its near the bottom of the page.

I think you need to be Prince to get a custom picture tho. I forget.

Access the Control Panel from somewhere at the top of the page.
