ok, so there an antenna in russia which does not allow anyone to travel up it (its just a steel frame...like those powerline towers) that is taller, and Burj Dubai which is under construction but estimated to be taller. Theres also an oil rig that is sea based and a supported antennae that are also taller than the CN tower. but they dont count

1. You can purchase land... you know go to the diplomacy and ask for that city you want and ask what they are willing to trade for it...

2. If you want to ruin relations or go to war go right ahead! No one is gonna call the UN on you and declare sanctions!

3. Why do you want build military bases if open border treaties do the same thing anyways? You can move your unit to people you have open border with even their city. Heck just a few minutes ago I rebased my stealth bomber in a open border city country so I can bomb France easier.

4. The spy is basically a terrorist. You know spying and destroying production...

[SIZE=1]had to reply to this... I hate how people are linking Israel to Judaism like this. It was the kingdom of Judea (~2000BC) where the religion started, not Israel (1949). Israel is about as useless as a full diaper (in civ terms of course). It is the only jewish state in existance, but without US money, military and political backing, it would have been destroyed in 1967 or never even created to begin with.

Judaism has been started, traditionally, with Abraham, the ancestor of Jacob, who was renamed to Israel.
Israel is the nation that came from Jacob/Israel.

Therefor Judaism IS tied to Israel for sure.
It's later that the kingdom of Israel splitted up into Israel and Judea. Of course all traditionally spoken.

-The ability to buy a SQUARE of land between my city and a competing civs city. I want to get THAT particular square. even threaten it to me.

-Forgive and forget in diplomacy. I destroyed a city of the chinese in 2000bc, mao is still mad about it in 1000ad, despite the fact that we share the same religion and have a great trading relationship. but worst of all catherine of russia is also STILL mad at me for declaring war on her "friend" china that she now hates...

-Not sure if this is actually in, but a unit stationed on a border should INCREASE my culture percentage in that square as to prevent the other civ from culture sneaking MY land squares. Again, a particular square DOES matter.

-Brains for the AI in diplomacy. Roosevelt has been my friend for 5000 years. yet he absolutely REFUSES to trade me horsebackriding. It will take me 2 turns to research it and my weapons tech has progressed far beyond horse archers, yet he's not yet ready to trade that. Why not?

-To get leaders image in multiplayer diplomacy. With mood settings such as, cautios, friendly, hostile etc.

-To have multilateral diplomacy, ie several nations in one diplomacy session. would be great for negotiating peace talks and similar.

-More civs obviously. Where are our beloved babylonians and zulus? vikings? carthage?

-2 Leaders for ALL civs! not giving everyone 2 is just stupid.

All the above mentioned demands indicate two things.
First, the game was NOT COMPLETED on shipping date. Therefore there will be patches and rumours of patches.
Second, expansion packs will come to milk the cash cow dry as a twig. well, sid, firaxis, 2k and whoever else. I've bought the GAME, I wont buy any damn expansion packs to fix the game so that it gets to be what should have been in the first place! Expansion and patches are NOT the same!

Its doubtful that the Kingdom of Judah called itself that. That is just the Westernized term for the Southern kingdom of Israel, which included the tribes of Judah and Benjamin. They probably thought of themselves as Israelites though(the Tanakh was written in the Southern Kingdom, and it never calls anyone Jews, only Israelites or Hebrews.) So in conclusion, 'Kingdom of Judah' is a misleading term, and it is historically just the Southern Kingdom of Israel.

Anyhow, I hope to see the UN improved significantly, with cooperative military strikes, the ability to withdraw from the UN etc...

The abandon city feature surely isn't an easy one to implement. First it has an out of the box loophole that you don't raze a city, but abandon it the next turn, thus avoiding the negative relations effect. Same with Holy Cities.. Should you be able to abandon a holy city?

I find the request for ability to purchase land from other civs (without cities) quite unreasonable. Even assuming that (1) it was possible to script, and (2) AI knew how to handle it, it would totally screw up the entire cultural borders concept - should it prevent spreading enemy culture beyond this point or just affect certain tiles? What if the city of the country who ceded some land to you is captured by an enemy - does his borders go back to the normal state reflected by culture (which would be a reasonable thing to do)?

Cities has always reflected the area you control in Civ. This would totally destroy that concept. If you want some new land build culture in your cities or get the enemy cities to become yours.

With some minor exceptions, this is the list of the most horrible and unreasonable ideas presented so far. Great way to show one doesn't grasp the basic concept of Civilization gameplay at all.

While this part may need some fine-tuning, I don't really think it should be forgotten the way you would like it to be.

After all, diplo relations get a bonus for long peace, getting bigger with time - this is supposed to offset the negative modifier of having destroyed the Chinese city in your example. If that negative modifier was removed after some time, then there is no reason to have a bonus for long peace either.
