The things on Spies are also new to me

Diverging upgrade paths ... not only does it sound interesting, but it's one of the many things that were simply impossible in Civ3.

is there truth to the fact, that beta testers can be more open on the 25?
if so, please create a spoiler thread
I would like to find out what is in the game, with as little outside help as possible

Partially. We can talk then, I suppose about the game itself, just like everyone else can. No details on the beta process itself, of course.Solver, WePlayCiv Co-Administrator

Btw, solver, is it true that the Camel archer's only advantage is that it doesn't require neither iron nor horses to build compared to the knight?
If that is true, it's a bit dissapointing (from a fun perspective) as it was my favourite civ, but I guess it could be really useful from a strategic perspective.Last edited by Freddz; October 24, 2005, 15:42.

Another surprising reflection... the incan swordsman is weaker than the regular quechua. It guess it doesn't require iron but... it was a bit surprising..
Should edit the above: Meant the jaguar for the aztecs instead of the incan unit. My mind was wandering.Last edited by Freddz; October 24, 2005, 15:43.
