    Okay, I'll finally admit it.
The great look of the game, the 3D graphics flexibility is a great feature. I didn't think so at first, but the thought has grown, and the screens look great.
    There, I said it.

Yep. I didn't think 3D graphics were that great (not bad either, but 'fluff' stuff), but the IGN video review told me otherwise.

Speaking of graphics and suburbs and such, is there a city view in Civ 4?

One of them is civics...I've been a bit fan of this concept since SMAC and thought it should be implemented into subsequent games

I don't think that is applicable as you seem to be able to view the city pretty well on the main screen alone...

I suspected that might be the case. Ah well. They look good on the main screen.

Btw, Provost, almost exactly four years ago, you got me banned.

And how on earth did I get you banned?

I dunno, it seems to be so much new and improved things in this game... I would have liked to say religion, as I was very intrigued by the ideas of the old List, but while I think it sounds like it's well implemented, I don't think it's made such as I imagined it from those days. But the civics system might be a good candidate as a favourite, if have to choose one.

Oh, and as said yin, I like your return to the positive parts of the cosmos. And I do really appreciate the intelligent and often very interesting comments and considerations you show in your later posts.

I'm exaggerating. I was one of the n00bs that rushed to Apolyton when I found out there was going to be a second sequel to my favorite series.

My first thread was in the brand new Civ 3 section of the site, and I was ranting about finding Apolyton (and how for some reason it took several weeks for my registration to be activated). The thread quickly lost steam, so then a bunch of the OTers invaded my thread and spammed it to death. Being overly excited and new, I joined in on the spam. We were celebrating the coming of Civ 3. Then MtG came.

I'm pretty sure you were one of those OTers. My memory could be rusty, though. Oh those were the days.

I more than likely was, but I forget. I do have a penchant for the spam

You know how the moderators around here suck

I can't comment on the moderators too much because I'm primarily a lurker. But I have the distinction of being able to say that my very first thread on Apolyton got me a week long ban and a 100% PCR.

And now you're stuck as a lowly prince

Back on topic though, I like the idea of the spread of religion and encouraging it to spread...that will be pretty cool! I am also quite interested in the new, improved culture system too
