I too would like to see additional commentary from the esteemed beta-testers. While I greatly appreciate the information we've been given, I'm more interested in commentary from those who adopt a less sanguine outlook on the game.

It's possible that all the beta-testers love every aspect of the game, but I find that somewhat hard to believe.

Did they last long against your SAM-infantry?

I had 1 SAM Infantry, and some regular Infantry, Friedrich had several Bombers and about 20 Tanks .

Now don't get me wrong, I'm not going to say "I know you'll love them." I will say that I like them and find them sufficient. Everyone feels differently, but I think airpower is sufficiently and properly represented in CIV.

Well, all the beta testers love this game, I assure you. As for loving every aspect, you're imagining that - there are less-than-perfect things. Like, I've mentioned that I'm not entirely satisfied with the espionage system.

The true point is, the good aspects in this game are very good, and they by far outweigh the more minor negatives!

On release day the celebrity status of the beta testers will be virtually gone!

Solver is airpower like Civ in the fact that it uses air missions, or is it like civ in that you have to move the air units around? I HOPE i't like civ3 in that regard!

The NDA should never be lifted upon those beta-testers

The first rule of Civ IV beta-testing is you don't talk about Civ IV
