Actually Boris, the designers have already stated that barbarian camps have in fact been replaced with cities-effectively making barbarians more like 'Minor Nations'. This means that they are able to build new units and possibly improvements-the only thing they can't do, apparently, is gain culture. I assume, though, that this also means that they can capture cities too.

Unless it's supposed to represent the Kremlin.

It would have been much better (and not that difficult to script, I suppose) if the minor wonders had nation-specific names.

So, in England you have Scotland Yard (although MI-5 would be better), but in Russia it's KGB and in US CIA. Likewise, have Oxford, Harvard and Sorbonne (for various nations) instead of just Oxford for everybody.

umm, yeah, that would be odd, they share the same square but are totally separate... had no idea kremlin was in the game

't Was said in jest, but would be a nice addition anyway. Perhaps a trigger could be that explorers can catch them once a player has at least one colosseum.
Essentially, it's the same feature as capturing enemy workers.

                        Some interesting gameplay changes.
We need seperate human-only games for MP/PBEM that dont include the over-simplifications required to have a good AI

Shouldn't we wait until the game is out before we make changes to how it plays?

What? After spending years writing The List to tell them how to code it in the first place?

One of the first orders of business for the UN is to elect a Secretary General, and every civilization gets a vote in that process. If you manage to get elected, you can then try to get various resolutions passed. (If you fail to get elected, you'll have to wait for the next election.) The resolutions that you can propose include diplomatic victory, but you can also propose a nuclear nonproliferation treaty, which bans nuclear weapons; global civics such as free speech, emancipation, and environmentalism; and open markets.
