              Some shops work 24/7. So if you know a shop like that you can drive and get one at 0:00 if you're lucky. Don't forget to call them, not all of them put games to shelves at 0:00.
              I heard it was a popular practice in USA during a World of Warcraft release, especially if you consider how fast WoW was sold. Too bad a guy who brouht WoW for me wasn't so lucky... Well, getting WoW at 9am USA time in release day when you live in Russia was good enough

                    My first game will take much more time than 3 days. A week or two. The hugest map, so many civs as possible, long time spent just looking around,zooming in and out ( cool!) consulting the civilopedia... I'll take my time.
