      He is the perfect arab leader. He is one of the most know(if not most know) arab leaders. It doesn't really mather that he was a kurd because he saw himself as muslim and not as anything else, he wanted to unite muslims against the crusaders.

      It is much more fun to play against a true legendary leader like Saladin then some unknow leader. Saladin did have a BIG impact on history. After countless muslim defeats did he not only let muslims win, but he even conquered Jerusalem. He still has a huge influence on many muslims arround the world.

        The first two people mentioned were originally from Austria.
        However, Hitler immigrated to Germany early enough to fight in the German army during WWI. For that matter Austria and Germany merged in the 30s.

        The Goverminator has been in California for a few decades now. He's not allowed to run for either President or Vice President under our constitution, and if he ever entered the cabinet would not be in the line of succession, but that's it.

        McCain is a Republican; but he's a Mavrick. This would also cause him extreme difficulty trying to get a nomination for president. (Republican primary voters for president tend to avoid mavricks like the plague.)

                  Give it up Markos. We know that Greeks want to retroactively adopt Alexander, but at the time Macedonians were thought as barbarians by the Greeks.

                  Hell, most other countries realize a lot of myths of their countries were fake, you can start to do the same .
