    I just dont get.

    If they are animated, does this include sound.

    PLEASE tell me we have the option to turn off

    Whats the big deal, likely includes sound when you mouse-over or click on them for info. Animations the same, maybe fidget animations the rest of the time.

    Im sure itll be turn offable.

      Hey, I like eye candy when I start playing a new game. I like it!

      But, of course, there must be an option to turn it off once it gets tedious. You could do it in Civ3, so what makes you think it would be forgotten in CIV? The feature is kind of obvious, right?
      Seriously. Kung freaking fu.

          I can hardly make a serious comment on something I barely know. So where's that banana-option?... They certainly have soem banana ressources, no?

            CtP1 had animated trade goods. I didn't have a problem with that, they never bothered me either way. Even after hundreds of hours of gameplay I never felt a need to disable them.

            But of a course an option to do so would never hurt (CtP1 had that option as well), if only to improve performance on low-end machines...

              It's kinda like the Fruit of the Loom guys. You know the Grape guy dancing for "wine" and .... hmmm...well, maybe just one of those guys.

                It is a 3D words, so there will be random idle animations for
                terrain and resource features, I see not what the beef is?
