So where are these Screenshots, Informer?

A few notes:

Screenshot 1:
The icons at the top are technology icons, they are the same images as from Civ3 (I hope they are placeholders).


Screenshot 2:
The units closest to the top left are the same Swordsmen units from Civ3.

It looks real nice. I see that there are two kinds of borders there, or rather two ways of showing the same border? Weird they haven't decided on one. But of course, this is beta screens.

But tell me(if you can), what are the boxes in the upper mid of the first screenshot?

What I wonder about, the screenshots are titled 'screen2' and 'screen3' (or something)

Hmm.. trying really hard to identify more icons here..


On screenshot1, there are 4 icons next to the map.

As far as I can tell, they are (from top):

1. Land/Territory
2. Cities
3. Okay, its either praying hands or soldiers.
4. I think its resources..

I somehow think I've read mcuh of that before... Not much, but the screens looks good as said. But, religion first when it's researched? What do Firaxis think the humans believed in before that then? Religion has always been present in human society...

Looks like the same ol' crappy game that we have now.

Nah, the looks are great.
The 3D is looking good.
The zoom options are good
It's possible to change the angle

And indeed, the look of the graphics is not very very much different then cIIIv, though those graphics were very good already.

Compared to those alpha screenshots we got a few months ago this is a huge improvement. I'm actually pretty happy, seeing those screenshots.

What bothers me is the graphics makes it more diffecult to see each tile


It seems like there's always 5 people in a group, is that the health points for a unit?
