Here's my idea: I think it would be a ineresting addition to gameplay if some units, maybe even UU's, recieved bonuses for their stats only under certain conditions.
For instance, you could have a unit whose stats would raise if they were fighting in, say, a desert, or defending in a swamp. In return for the limited availibility of their bonus, the stats would raise more than one point, like gaining a point for both movement and attack, or two points on defense. I think these types of units would add a new level to the military strategy part of civ4. What do you think. I'm only floating this idea, so I'd love some suggestions!
