Paradox have been in the publishing business for a while, just not for games. Which changed recently, due to the ineptness of Strategy First they chose to self-publish for the North American area and made a deal with Atari for the distribution. Going by how the terms are used in the games industry, publishing and distributing are two clearly separate activities. They're often handled by the same companies, publishers. Atari are not publishing Paradox games.

Paradox has bought Civilization rights and CIV 4 will be released by the first half of 2005. Be patient, CIV 4 is very near, and specially I have a great sympathy for Trip and I hope that he will not get tripped after he finds out the truth and remain here with us as we dont want to lose such a gem.
