Excellent script but i must say i would like to see something about the deserts-instead of being scattered, maybe 1-2 big deserts. The standard terrain also scatters desert everywhere
My biggest gripe is that i cant replicate Inland Sea-even with wrapping off, the map does tropical in the center, tundra on the outside and desert between. Using great plains for the terrain somewhat alleviates this, but what i would LOVE to see is a 'arboria' option in the terrain(is that the word?) list as an option. Its basicly just grassland but the ''Smartmap Only Grass'' doesnt seem to work as well(or at all

Unzip to your publicmaps folder. Use by selecting customgame, and selecting SmartMap as the map.
The single most common error is to wind up with an extra folder: civ iv folder\PublicMaps\SmartMap\SmartMap.py rather than the correct:
civ iv folder\PublicMaps\SmartMap.py
This map script can create an incredible assortment of gameplay experiences.
Here's a random sampling of outcomes:
First row: High Sea level, Large size, assorted options.
Second row: Med Sea level, Large size, assorted options.
Third row: Low Sea level, Large size, assorted options.
