Show Picture of Great X when Great X is born

Is it possible to have the "NAME is born" be phrased as "Great X, NAME is born"? Ideally for player & enemy GPs. While most players will find most of the names obvious, most players will also not recognize a few of the names and some players will not recognize most of the names. There are also names where the type is not always obvious as well.

Right, I want to point out that the screenies that I post don't contain any portraits that will be in the final mod. I don't have Sn00py's pictures, and so this (and the quote) is for testing purposes only. The mod will not be making jokes like this.

Sn00py, it's a known bug in the game. If you put the mod under the MODS directory in the Civ installation folder instead My Games, then it should work.

Yes, it would be quite easy to do, in fact, that's how it originally was, (see here), but I changed it to only use the name of the great person for convenience reasons in the code, and forgot to change it back later on. I'll make sure to do it with the next update though.

Will this mod only do popus when a great person is born in my civ? There are quite a few great people being born, not sure I want popup spam.

I was thinking about trying to do this (with optional video) after I finished testing (and learning) the map creation limits. Thank you guys for jumping on this. It surely will become a must have mod.

Well, I don't, it all just automagically works: for the purposes of the API, I think the resolution is always the same, and the stuff is scaled appropriately on a lower level.

Ok, I will be finishing within the next 6 hours.

I only have another 44 to do. Just be warned that this mod will have a fairly large file size, so I will have to talk with MarkG or someone who can host it, I would host it, but I don't have unlimited bandwidth on my server.


While I am doing these last 44, I don't have pictures on the following people, if anyone can help me find a decent sized photo of any of them, please contact me.
