Arnelos wants Japan. So Herc, you can have France or Spain. I've asked the server folks to kick Japan & France to AI so they can both be taken over. Of course the whole server is down now, which is a problem. I might have crashed it by accident by logging in with the wrong mod... I don't know if that is possible, but I hope not.

I heard back from Lz, he said he is on vacation till the end of July. He thought he'd be able to play his turns while he was gone, but he ended up not having Internet access. He said if someone could sub for him till then he'd take over when he returned.
So Herc, can you take over Spain permanently and then DNK, can you sub for France till Lz gets back?

He has an account on Apolyton and I told him about this thread, but he uses WPC more. That is where I've been talking to him. He hasn't answered his PM here. Anyhow, I had the server guys kick Japan & France to AI and he has started playing Japan. You should be able to take over France for the time being. And get the Spain pass to Herc.

I am a bit rusty with how to connect in MP. I have DoE2 mod in its correct place and I have my firewall allowing BTS.

Well I researched firewalls again and eventually added the source port that was being blocked.
And I am in. I made some builds, but I will need to go in again to have a good look around.
I also need to refresh my knowledge of BTS, fairly quickly.
I will read the story threads to get a feel for where Spain is in the world, before contributing.

Forgot I wasn't subbing anymore. Got out before the game fully loaded, so I didn't see anything.
I'm gone for only 15 turns (or something like that) and suddenly my people are up in arms! Not sure what's going on there. Anyway, I'm back now.
