Had to get these out of my system before finishing Harry's Romans. Sorry Harry

Holy cremole!!!!!!!
You did it! You really have created the ultimate SW units!
*bows*
Truly 2006 is going to be a killer year for sci-fi scenarios!!!
x 100,000

Seeing those Z-95s and Nebulons takes me back to the glory-era of the Lucasarts TIE-Fighter game!
*weeps*

Well I think Curt summed up our thoughts with his "Holy Cremole". I had been doing some experimenting earlier with my own attempts at a Corellian Corvette and a Z-95, but no need for me to attempt those anymore.
There are more than enough units now for a fully rounded conflict scenario now, though Gareth I'm more than willing to ask what kind of character units you have in mind......![]()

Thank you!

The quality of Imperial stormtrooper armour was just never the same after the battle of Endor!

It looks better to me!

It's amazing what that armour covered up![]()
Will you make a SW scenario Curt? Say yes, pleaseOriginally posted by curtsibling

You know, Han Solo, Luke, Leia, Darth Vader etc. I'd need a scenario for them first though. I made the ships etc as I was playing Kobi's SW Insurrection, which doesn't have hero units.Originally posted by Sarsstock

can there be stormtrooper units like the one above?
Another thought would be to include an unlikely pair in the next unit release...... a Death Star and a Jar Jar. That way, we'll have at last an appropriate weapon with which to vaporize Jar Jar.

here here!!!
although if some smart @$$ puts Jar Jar's head on the body of the stormtrooper above, i will come to that person's house, and CUT them...

Ohhh, we need the Millenium Falcon!
Also, I'd like to request an Imperial transport ship and a speeder bike.

Those units have convinced me that my Imperial Governor scenario idea has
to be made! I had secretly planned to make a tribute to my favourite era of
SW in 2006, but your super work has given me the jolt I needed! Excelsior!
Plenty of excellent space terrain out there too, but more can be made also!!!

in making a few commanders and fleet officers...?
Perhaps a Moff Tarkin and Imperial Admiral types...
Also old Admiral Ackbar and some Alliance brass too?
Between Fairline's new work, and Skyer's breakthroughs...
Things just became 200% cooler in CIV2!

In addition to your idea there Curt for a Star Wars Dictator scenario, another idea would be to recreate the early episodes the way Favoured Flight did with the Lord of the Rings scenario's using event triggers to move character units through the various plots.
Still, the idea of a Star Wars Dictator scenario is for certain the better of the ideas. I hadn't realized you had any such idea in the works Curt, are there any more details you could share with the forum? Rough as they may be?
Its clear though come 2006 Civ II will still be rolling along at full velocity with new and upcomming projects like these!!![]()

Count me in for unit drawing duties. I'll add the Admiral and Imperial officer nasties to the list

...and I had this hair-brained idea of making a scenario based on the original film; ToT, multi-map and quest/hero character-based rather than traditional civ empire-building, a la FavFlight's superb Lord of the Rings scenarios.
I was imagining a map with the interior of Princess Leia's spaceship as the start point. Stormtroopers invade, the player has Carrie and a handful of Rebel troopers to defend against the odds, but the main goal is to get the droids into an escape pod and into the first map transit point. This would lead to a space map with the planets Tatooine and Yavin at different ends together with Death star; Tatooine would be another map portal to the third map, this one being the surface of Tatooine with Mos Eisley, kenobi and Luke's home etc. The player would collect Luke, Obi-Wan, Han, Chewie etc along the way while battling Sand People and bounty hunters, and then leave Tatooine via another map portal back to the space map. The next map portal leads to a Death Star interior map....etc etc.
Garbled rubbish that I'll never attempt to undertake

I'll add them to the list too Harry. Actually, I already made an amazingly p1ss-poor Falcon which I've consigned to the scrap heap. A mark II is definitely in order.Originally posted by Harry Tuttle
