Or the soldiers from Advance Wars for gameboy advanced.

it looks like an odd version of Metal Slug...

Or the soldiers from Advance Wars for gameboy advanced.

Not units, but would be a great title image for an animanga scenario.

That is totally killer!
Did you draw/create this awesome-ness?
![]()

I couldn't draw my way out of a paper bag, Curt, much less good anime-style drawing.
-rmsharpe

Well, they the image is a hoot...
The attention to detail on their uniforms is great...
Even the shaping of the jackboot seams!

A real freak show.
The &*$#@! monster is wiping his jackboots on the %$#@! swastika or what?
And what is that @!$#$#! clown doing on the flag of Hungary?
(it's on its back and upside down)
63 million dead. Nothing funny about that.

People are still dying at this very second...The war never stopped.
But we can still make fun of these men...We made mocking cartoons of them during WW2...
Why should we stop now?

We need a scenario using these cool units....![]()

Could I make a units request? I'm not sure if it's WW2 or Modern, as it was used in the Korean War, mainly, but this thread's handier, so I'll use it. Can I get a F7T Tigercat fighter for my KW project? This is the LAST unit graphic I actually need for my units.txt. Is there anyone who can please oblige me? Thanks in advance!

I am busy making some icons for Patine's K scenario, so if
any of our regulars could help him out, that woul be great!

Couldn't find a picture of an "F7T Tigercat", though I did find the F7F Tigercat. Is this it, or at least close enough?Originally posted by Patine

I met a guy at my old job (washing airplanes for a warbird broker) who was working on a collection of all the Grumman "Cats".
He had a Tigercat already, and was about to buy a Wildcat at the time. Last I heard, he was trying to find a Hellcat, but I think there's only 6 or so left.
The Tigercat was fast- two engines off the Corsair, and a fuselage that was about as wide as your average collapsable table... couldn't help but go fast.

So, anybody want to create one?

Yes, an F7F should do nicely. There may have been a typo at my source. Thanks!

Hope you don't mind quick and dirty. Downloadable file in next post.

Thanks greatly, typhoon! I really appreciate it!

Nice one, typhoon!

That's really good Typhoon.![]()

Say guys, I actually need just one more unit for this scen; turns out an offline friend pointed out an error in my unit labelling. Does anyone have (or can anyone do) an M8 or M20 (either will do) armored car in standard army green? No insignia/shield needed; I'll provide that. Turns out I was instead using an M5 motorized infantry vehicle. Can anyone help me? I'd be most appreciative. Thanks in advance!

A slight tweak of fairline's M5 would do...![]()
Beautifull Tigercat there Typhoon, it certainly looks like KW is going to be featuring allot of brand new stellar looking late war/post war air units.

A couple of fanatic nazi units I played with, to be used for the upcoming Berlin 1945 scenario. From left: Hitlerjugend, Volksturm, SS Nordland Wiking panzergrenadiers, SS Nordland panzergrenadiers.
Feel free to imporve them. They are only shameless modifications of already existing Fairline inf's.

I like the mottled camo effect on the units!

What ho, chaps. Have been updating some of the units for Patine's EotRS scenario. British Empire and Commonwealth are done. Mostly bits of gareth and Sarsstock. As expected, my usual crap quality, not entirely happy with outcome. Will remedy if time is available. Yanks, Japanese, Dutch and Chinese in the pipe.
Png is preview. IE users download the .bmp in next post.

Non-Firefox users: Download this, ye heathens

Good work...!
Patine could use these for a Pacific War update!

Sure could! I'll eventually have to get around to that...especially now that AGRICOLA's back to (hopefully) test it out.
Well done indeed Typhoon, I especially like the Aussie on the bottom right with the big ol'knife in hand.
