This election will be close but the only way I see Kerry pulling ahead is if he stops dwelling on the past (his Vietnam record and Bush's past) and starts dealing with how he will make the future better then Bush will.

I think that will come about during the debates.

    Bush and Kerry are going to debate? Why? Is Comedy Channel hosting it? Shesssh... I can see it now;

Bush: Terror is very bad, and Terrorist bring terror so we must stop this Terror and that is why we went to Iraq to stop terror and the terrorists who bring the terror. I am constantly bargered about the nuclear weapons not being their. Now that we know there aren't any at least that terror is removed and we have accomplished our mission in Iraq; to destroy terror... TERROR!!!

Kerry: I support the war and Iraq too, I voted for it. I wouldn't vote for it if I had to do it over, but I support it now.

    Dumb and Dumber; Debate Class!!!!!!!!!!!11

It all depends on the Democratic nominee...if Kerry is elected, he'll be the nominee again...and we'll see if I vote another Kerry term, depending on how he does.

Otherwise, I will vote Hillary, Clark, or Obama over McCain

In 2000, I was hoping for a Bradley-McCain match up but instead got Bush-Gore .

But McCain remains one of the few Republicans I could vote for...along with Colin Power and maybe Christie Todd Whitman (if I overllook her vile doings at the EPA).

The change happened from the 8th to the 9th. Kerry lost ten electoral votes and Bush picked up 30.

Oh, like the Republicans, who have tons of respect for moderates?

Oh wait...they pander to the Christian right...oops

The reason the Republicans have been so successful is that with GWB they have someone who can hide an extreme right-wing view under a vail of moderation. I think Obama can do that for the Democrats.

Dude, the republicans are out there trying to get the moderate vote. In the form of our governor Schwarzenegger, Rudy Giuliani, John McCain and others.

Obama cannot do squat for the democrats. If he is the future of the democrats, I really do pity you. I feel really bad for your pathetic political party. GWB extreme right wing? What have you been smoking? The US will not fall to such a left-wing extremist like Obama.

bush himself might not be extreme right wing, but his policies seem to scream of it.

pandering to the christian right over gay marriage.
doing as little as possible to keep corporations honest.
speaking to his donors, even jokingly, as the elites of the haves and the have-mores.

sorry, but doing things like that speak loudly against me believing in his "moderate" politics.

I don't agree with him on marriage, he was just plain wrong.

But Obama is a nutcase of the extreme left wing. I've seen what has come out of his mouth...

You can't be f--king serious. It was the Justice Department (Ashcroft, appointed by Bush) who is going after corporations. And he is doing plenty to keep them in check. At least far more then Clinton.

Maybe you should look into Kerry's donors.
