are you on a low resolution? That would cause pixilations? Also make sure you have the latest drivers, old drivers could cause that problem.

Nvidia Graphics Concerns

Check your drivers, Tass. From what I heard in other games' forums, there were problems with NVidia detonator dirvers v40.xx. It appears, they messed up, and released a buggy version. If that's the version you have, either try the older version, v38.something, or the very newest v41.xx. Last time I checked, that version was still in beta stage, but it has proven very stable and much less buggy than v40.

Sorry... Must be a bug then.

Hmm, not noticing anything here. But i'm using a GF4Ti4200. You could try www.guru3d.com and see if theres any new detonater drivers you want to test. All the beta drivers usually get leaked and the performance on them varies, but if its a problem with earlier drivers one might fix it.
I've had textures getting corrupted in other games using the 40.72s, going up to 41.09 fixed it though."Every good communist should know political power grows out of the barrel of a gun." - Mao tse-Tung

Heya Tassadar5000, glad to see you've worked out the problem. (http://ron.heavengames.com/cgi-bin/f...t&f=9,420,0,10)
The buildings getting pixelated like that was a bug that has been addressed. The reason the terrain is displayed at a low resolution is because the game has detected that you have little system or video RAM, so the detail is lowered to increase your framerate and keep things running a little smoother. As you have already discovered, those players wanting better terrain graphics at the expense of framerate can edit their rise.ini.www.bighugegames.com
