I cannot get a new computer right now and want to play RoN MP. I guess I will see what happens on my 733, probably stick with SP for a while.About 24,000 people die every day from hunger or hunger-related causes. At the various Beta stages we naturally hadn't done all the "performance" work necessary to make the game run well on the lower end machines, thus the higher minspec on the Beta. The shipping version will have the specs previously announced. And yes, after the performance tooling it's really night and day in terms of performance.
