    no battle here

    for some strange reason(BHG ai programmers take note) the ai (on the early stages of the game only) decides to run around his units in your territory

    you can also attrition working here(i'm red, ai is purple). the orange "glow" on the ground under the units indicate that they are taking damage due to attrition(which as you can is totally lethal)

    close up of modern units

    these units have been grouped and ordered to move to that spot. as you can see they are automatically positioned to best position(artillery behind, etc)

    this is the closest zoom, you cant do much in it except watch the graphics

      the same situation on a zoom out(i think it's the max zoom out)

      you can see the effects of the battle on the ground(which are not permanent)

      a note on city taking: it's done in two parts
      1) "reduction": you hit the city with anything you can have(including air and sea units) until the health level is zero. when reached you get a "city reduced" message on the screen
      2) "take over": with infantry only you march towards the city and take it. you can take a city with bombers or even tanks

        sabotage!

        done with the special forces units(a modern ages upgrade of the ancient scout)

        for such special actions(the same applies to the general unit) the unit spents "craft"(shown with the arrow), which "fills up" again after some time

                          i prefer it from not being able to move!!!

                          btw, they dont do that too much, is just that it is not 100% realistic...

                            Markos, that brings up a good point. How is pathfinding? How do your units move around one another? In some games it takes forever for them to get around one obstacle or make their way through a whole in the wall, how about in RoN?
                            About 24,000 people die every day from hunger or hunger-related causes. With a simple click daily at the Hunger Site you can provide food for those who need it.
