The new screenshots are excellent. its great to see a row of broadsides on the ships.

I have to say, the detail in graphics in this game is probably the best I have ever seen.

It's a shame that they left Firaxis, Civ3 could have been a lot more detailed

One thing I HATE tho, is the repetition of buildings, 3 ports, all the same, it's very ugly!

well they may not have had the opportunity to do that unless the left and did their own thing. also with repeated buildings well you cant avoid that. they cant have all different graphics for every instance of an object. not practical to code up infinite about of graphic variations for each art set. plus before long it'll be hard to recognize the buildings if you want them to be all different.

I'm not suggesting they design new buildings, I'm just suggesting something more practical and not ugly.

Like upgrading it to build more than 1 unit at the same time, etc. coz that's really the only reason you build a second portn - to push the production rate. It's ok if you have two settlements tho, then it would be practical to have two of the same looking port.

They have said your going to need more than one air base just to have a larger air force. Each base can only contain so many planes. So there are reasons in RoN to build more than one building other than simply to rush production.
