    Just read the article on gamespy on Russians and Egyptians. Here's a summary


    the Russians sounds like they have a lot of advantages and very powerful...

    Unique Units
    1) Lancer, Cossacks->Don Cossacks
    2) Katyusha Rocket Launcher trucks (good also against infantry), T34->T80
    3) Red Guards->Shock Infantry

    Unique Powers
    1) Russian Winter
    2) 10% oil bonus
    3) extra villager at start


    Egypt had

    Unique Units
    1) War Chariots-> Heavy War Chariot (beats all other early cavalry)
    2) Light Camel Warrior -> Camel Warrior (beats all other light cavalry)
    3) Mamuluke->Royal Mamuluke

    Unique Powers
    1) Cheap Wonders
    2) Access to two Wonders

      The different civ attributes are really interesting. They are each really different and have tons of possibilities. Will be really intruiging to see them balanced and all working together so that no civ is too strong with those attributes.
      About 24,000 people die every day from hunger or hunger-related causes. With a simple click daily at the Hunger Site you can provide food for those who need it.

        I hope RON is a continuus game like civilisation to some extent, I think it wouldn't be good if the games only lasted a few hours before you went onto another level as in AOE.

        I think its good there are more than one special units, maybe each era should have a special unit for each nation, although only if the designers have enough time to achieve this effectivley.

        hmm Japan sounds fun, does each nation have special character leaders too? like more advanced civilisation great leaders, that can actually do new things?
        Maybe the japanese could get emperor hiroheto, and can use fascist gov's more effectively, and build units +25% maybe.

                  Arrgh! Re-read the list of civs - there are no Babylonians (Akkadians), Assyrians, Phoenicians, Cartheginians, not to mention Hebrews!

                  What, is this game anti-Semitic? The Arabs were the greatest of them all, but could there have been at least ONE Semitic Civ?

                  They invented the "phonetic" (get it?) alphabet I am writing with, for crying out loud!

                    gaikokujin: Pre-publication fan pressure (or whining, if you prefer) has so far been successful in wringing a statement out of BHG that "India would be high on the list for an expansion."

                    I would be more than happy to join a chorus of support for including the Arabs as well. Sometime in the past I remember posting a plea that BHG consider adding
