JEtW: You bring up an important point that all posters would do well to reread and ponder!!! If BR puts the three letters "BHG" beside his name, that certainly validates his identity...

Just like you putting "forum icon" under your rank makes it so...

"why does Firaxis not have their own forum, nor BHG"

Ken: there's a long history about forums, Firaxis, and alpha.owo.com, not all of which is interesting, positive, or wholesome enough for family consumption.

BHG is doing exactly the right thing by making themselves somewhat available on a forum, encouraging discussion, but not being responsible for it or officially involved...

Btw, you are the first person from S. Africa that I've encountered on these forums. Welcome!

I came upon a barroom full of bad Salon pictures in which men with hats on the backs of their heads were wolfing food from a counter. It was the institution of the "free lunch" I had struck. You paid for a drink and got as much as you wanted to eat. For something less than a rupee a day a man can feed himself sumptuously in San Francisco, even though he be a bankrupt. Remember this if ever you are stranded in these parts. ~ Rudyard Kipling, 1891

Another wonderful point! How do we know if it's the real Brian Reynolds imposter, rather than the fake Brian Reynolds imposter? I suggest that you post another 50 messages on these forums in order to find out for sure, because someone around here must know something!

          Look,

I have figured out how it was done. We know now that the imposter can't get the password now and that is why "Brian Reynolds" doesn't post here any more. One post and that was it.

Aren't you curious as to who and why?

JEtW: wow, truly illuminating! Through many hours of watching Fight Club, I can see why it is important to root out this nefariousness! I mean, is the real BR imposter insured? Does he owe anything on his car or home? Clearly, our very existence as an advanced society is threatened!

Yes, I'm pretty certain that investigating this case will eventually reveal who killed Kennedy.

I just find it a bit odd that this site has a strong ant-double login policy yet chooses not to enforce it in this case.

I see your point, there are grounds for thinking that there is some sort of conspiracy.

I am glad that I am no longer alone in this and some of you are also suspicious.

In fact, it does look like we've scared him off now.

                  Wonder who it was?

You can stop bumping this thread now...

BR will post again... so wait half a year, then if he still hasn't posted to this forum, bump it again. Deal?

                      Naaah.

After mature deliberation, this cannot be the real JEtW.

                      (Well, matureish deliberation anyway.)

PS Where are you, Brain. we need you on this one.

It's certainly the real me. However, I am convinced that it is NOT the real Brian Reynolds.

JEtW: I am a friend of BR's friend, and I talk to her all the time. She talks to BR quite often to and she told me about him making this company and asures me that it realy is him.

Anyway, how do we know that it's not him. There is no proof that it is not him. It goes like this: if he provides proof that it realy is him, he is controdicting himself for proof denies faith, and without faith he is nothing. Yet, if he provides proof that it realy is him, then we know it realy is him.

So either way, we all know it realy is BR. For those of you who don't believe it realy is BR, please understand that we all fell very sorry for you and hope you get help.

zichlen, I'm sorry you got upset over this. I wanted to see how long this would go on...
Instead, I should have have given actual proof that the login is real and close this stupid thread if JEtW continued on his idiocy

JEtW, the admins get an e-mail from the forum scripts when there is a new registration. As the password is sent to the e-mail given during registration, if a login makes a post, it means that the e-mail is valid. In this case, the BR login was registered with the actual e-mail of BR at the BHG site. And this is the actual e-mail address as I have goten e-mail from Brian from that address(and I know how to recognize a fake mail). Your "register with another e-mail, post, and change e-mail" theory simply didnt happen.

                            I hope this ends here

I am sorry but this is starting to stink to me.

Zichlen, if you are a genuine login then I hope you will excuse me. However, I have seen enough jokers play this game to be more than a little suspicious.

You have posted on this site 5 times - 2 of which, here, to suggest that I am a conspiracy theorist or someone who wishes ill of friends of your friends.

I wish ill for nobody, but I am unconvinced by occasional posters. I am less convinced still by new login defendees.

I take MarkG's word that he has tracked down the fake Brian and hope that he will be suitably IP banned from this site, although I understand he won't wish to admit to have been duped.
