Updating problems

So, I've updated my copy of the game to 02.04.04.

However, once I update to that level, it does not recognise the fact that there are more updates in the Auto-updater. It also thinks that all of the manual patches are installed when I have never touched them...

My friend has been able to update to 07, but I'm still stuck here. Any idea?

Microsoft Support for the game has also ended unfortunately.

Hmm, do you have Thrones and Patriots? That's the only thing I can think of, offhand.

The only other thing I can suggest is to uninstall the game and reinstall it.

The game does save your profiles and saved games, so it's not as traumatic as you might think.
