Apoc Timer off?

Is there a mod or code that turns off the Apoc timer? I'm sick of the darn computer launching nuke after nuke & making the game end.

There is no way to turn it off entirely, but if you go into the .xml files and search for "Armageddon", you'll find an entry that sets a value for Armageddon.

If you set that very very high, then it practically makes Armageddon impossible. I can't remember what the .xml file is but I imagine it would be Game.xml or Rules.xml or something like that.
