Episode 101 Re-Released

The first episode of Age of Nations (AoN), "Dawn of Ages", has been re-released. Written by Creator/Producer Daniel "DanQ" Quick, it contains a rectified soundtrack. From this instalment's explanatory introduction:

The audio originally recorded for one scene... had to be re-done due to limited editing knowledge. The quality was insufficient. Due to time constraints, only one of its three voice actors were available to do so. The re-recording was lacking.

The original audio for the scene in question was archived in the hope that editing knowledge would improve. It did considerably: the audio has been restored to a 'releasable' level.

AoN is the first Real-Time Strategy (RTS) machinima series, and the first Rise of Nations machinima endeavour that also blends some `live-action` footage for good measure. AoN is produced and published by Apolyton Civizization Site, one of the oldest and premiere online computer strategy gaming fansites on the Internet.

The modified outing runs for 09m47s and is available in both DivX and Windows Media formats with low-resolution and high-resolution variants.
