The seventh episode of Age of Nations (AoN), "Wonder of the World", has been released. Written by Daniel "DanQ" Quick, "[m]ilitary leaders listen to more first-hand accounts of a looming threat, but are divided on how to react to them. Meanwhile, members of the political elite themselves are dividing on how to lead their people against this latest threat".AoN is the first Real-Time Strategy (RTS) machinima series, and the first Rise of Nations machinima endeavour that also blends some `live-action` footage for good measure. AoN is produced and published by Apolyton Civizization Site, one of the oldest and premiere online computer strategy gaming fansites on the Internet. The episode runs for 14m29s and is available in both DivX and Windows Media formats with low-resolution and high-resolution variants.
This is the mid-point of AoN's premier season which is going on a few months' hiatus with "The Best of Plans", the series' eighth episode, scheduled to begin netcasting on August 24th. In the interim watch for the commentary of this latest instalment in early June, a bonus clip in July and at least one other feature presentation.
