Any ways to change default color in Conquer the World?

In short, you must always be the colour Red in these games. This seems to be the most annoying part of the Conquer the World campaigns. Is their no way to change this?

My favorite Conquer the World to play is the Cold War. So far, I only play as the Soviets. I like that their red. But I really want to play as the Americans and crush some Red Communists.

So, does anyone know how to change this or know of any scripts to change it?
