I am new to rise of nations and enjoying it hugely.
Except for a single niggle - why is the pacing of the various ages so poor. I started out in the continental US and have barely completed subduing my neighbours there - about 6-8 active campaigns and already I am in the enlightenment age.
Surely it would be better to spread the transition between the ages more evenly so a good 8-10 campaigns could be waged for each age before conquering the world?
Any thoughts or suggestions of how this could be passed on to the developers would be appreciated
