Plesase i need help my rise of nations doesn't work it apperar s an error that says string table.xml not found. I need help ?

Here are a few initial suggestions:
1. Uninstall and reinstall the game.
2. Make sure you’ve got all the Windows Updates.
3. Perform Disk Cleanup and Defrag
4. If you have the original RoN, and not the Thrones & Patriots expansion, upgrade to Patch 3.
5. Download and install DirectX 9.0b.
6. Update your video and sound drivers.

If you’ve done all that and still RoN won’t work, there are other steps you can take, many of them described in this Microsoft Games support article.
