Only 50 cents. Something funny is going on.
I don't go for such deals because I know such cheap stuff comes with strings attached. Perhaps the CD is scratched or something.
People can lie about the condition of their items over the internet. It's so simple to type the words Ebay or Amazon wants to hear.
I don't trust buying stuff over the internet. I prefer to buy things I *can* see, such as in real world stores where I can actually see the condition of the box. I can also get a lot better feedback and info about the game itself from looking at screenshots and reading the blurb on the box.
I stay the hell away from Ebay. Too many shady stuff going on there, and you never know if hackers are lurking there, ready to steal your account and credit.Geniuses are ordinary people bestowed with the gift to see beyond common everyday perceptions.

You can view their feedback and see if other people were satisfied with their dealings. If they are the type of people to lie about the condition of what they are selling, then others will have complained about it before.I'm building a wagon! On some other part of the internets, obviously (but not that other site).

Thats true, however, it still doesn't allay my misgivings about electronic purchases.
I guess I'm old fashioned, then. I feel more comfortable buying things I can actually see, touch, or smell. You can't do that at all over the computer.Geniuses are ordinary people bestowed with the gift to see beyond common everyday perceptions.

I hope that when it arrives in a week or so, after my cheque clears, that it is in as good a condition as it was described on E-bay.

I do admit that sometimes Ebay and Amazon does work out, and things aren't half broken or "filled with sawdust".
I've had several bids go bad, hence my apphrension regarding both sites.Geniuses are ordinary people bestowed with the gift to see beyond common everyday perceptions.

My copy arrived from the E-bay seller a few days ago, and it is in very good condition; with not a mark or crease on the little charts with come with it. I installed it last night and it is working fine.
2 Q.s:
1. It arrived in a DVD case and the manual is very light on detail. Was there nothing more informative with the original release?
2. I know from reading other posts here that I can slow down the speed of various things. What line do I alter to slow down the build speed of Wonders?
Thanks for any info.

I really hope that, when I get paid in a few days' time and I start looking to get RoN, I find it for something like this price. Haven't seen it in NZ for less than about $45US yet.

What would shipping be from the US?
I saw it at the second hand store for $10 here...bout 2 weeks ago.
Hell, if it's still that cheap I'll just ship it out to ya.Last edited by UnOrthOdOx; April 27, 2004, 14:51.One who has a surplus of the unorthodox shall attain surpassing victories. - Sun Pin

200MB is just too massive for my little dial-up. If I get 24 hours to spare tying up the phoneline while trying to sell the house (aka not going to happen) I might consider it.One who has a surplus of the unorthodox shall attain surpassing victories. - Sun Pin
