can't find network connection for multiplayer
I have two computers networked to a Netgear router. My windows XP machine is able to find create, host and join RON just fine.
My second machine is running Windows 98SE, but when i try to go to Multiplayer -- either LAN or Gamespy -- it says it is unable to find a network connection.
I'm very confused because the win98SE machine can get online or LAN for multiplayer for other games like Starcraft, Battlefield and Medal of Honor.
Since we really only want to plan on the LAN for now, I'm only forwarding two ports on the router that big huge says to keep open for LAN games:
UDP 34987
UDP 18890
I also have UPnP turned on.
Any Ideas?
