WIn ME FREEZES with RON...Help!!!!

Compaq Presario AMD Duron 900mhz.
256 RAM 64Meg Nvidia
Windows ME.
Help Chaps playing RON on my PC... get through a few minutes then my pc freezes, i cannot do anything and have to resort to unplugging the pc ( not advised..)
I did a `take it back to factory settings`reinstalled RON, and it now seems to freeze more often????????
HELP....i havent read the readme is there any issues with RON amd WInME!!!!
Is there anything I can do.

Just some general thoughts for both 'o you:
Have you tried
- Patching
-Re-installing RoN
-Upgrading drivers
-Talking to Microsoft

Also, do you have an optical/wireless keyboard or mouse? Those have been known to cause problems. "Hot" processors such as higher-end Athlon XPs are also a cause of RoN problems, but that doesn't look like the cause.

Also, this is a gaming forum, not support.microsoft.com. Win ME is famous for its instabilty.

Thanks for the input, I retract my posting , it seems my Pc has just died without playing any game. looks like I`ve got a system board problem.
( Maybe I can convince the wife we need a new one!!!)
