Replacing Files in CD!!!!!!!

I downloaded this mod for Rise of Nations called "expanded/infinite population mod." In Rise of Nations you only get up to 200 population which is kinda bad. This mod makes it so you can get up to 9999 population instead. So, in some forums I read that in order to use this mod you have to take the "rule.xml" file and "help.xml" and replace them with the "rule.xml" file and "help.xml" file that you downloaded. In other words:

On the Rise of Nations CD there is:
rules.xml
help.xml

Once you download and extract the mod, there is:
rules.xml
helps.xml

What I need to do is replace them. But I don't know how. Does anyone know how to replace this download from my desktop with the files on the CD?

You replace the files that are on your hard drive, in the rise of nations folder (usually C: >> Program Files >> Microsoft Games >> Rise of Nations >> Data).

If you find a way to fit them onto the cd, share it
