Installing another copy of RoN

Has anyone ever managed to install a second copy of RoN on their hard drive? I would like to have a clean version, and a mod version, so in case the latter goes funky, I can still play when the urge strikes, rather than purging and reinstalling.

I haven't tried it, but I probably wouldn't even install a second copy. I'd just duplicate the root directory, and swap the default folder name between the unmodded directory and the mod folder when needed.

i think your best bet is to wait for patch 3 which supposed to be able to automatically manage mods. or if someone can code a mod manager by themselves. (it shouldnt be hard to do since its just a file swapper) but since it should be in patch 3 its not really worthwhile for the fan community to do. however, if it doesnt make it into the next patch maybe we can make a fan made, mod manager.
