  • How to make age advancing impossible in CTW?

I'm talking about during a fight...

I hate the fact, that you can advance in age during a game, and when the game is done, you're back in age again... This makes no sense, and makes CTW boring...

I have tried to set the cost of age advancing to something extremely wild (i.e. 5 million food to get to Medival age), but still it only costs a few hundred

But when advancing to the next age, you get 5 million points

Maybe you changed the wrong value. Either that, or there is a maximum value you went way over.

    What file is this in?
I'm building a wagon! On some other part of the internets, obviously (but not that other site).

Try changing the prerequisits for age changes to something impossible to get. For example, the first prerequisit for "Medieval Age" is "Classical Age". If instead it was "Artificial Intelligence", then no-one would be able to advance to another age.

I can set the early ages to require oil, but that one doesn't work for late ages

I have also tried to change where it should be researched:

                < W H E R E >Space Program< / W H E R E >

But it still shows up in the library
