This is a scenario based on the struggle between feudal Japanese Daiymo's in the 1500's, much like the game Shogun - Total War.
I think it should work okay. By default you are the Shimazu clan, down at the South-West end of the islands. There are also 4 other clans, plus Korea, as well as the "Ronin" who have no resources, but a couple of cities defended by small armies. You can open up the editor to change which of the five Japanese clans you play, all should be pretty well balanced.
There's little in the way of editing, but I made the research for the Medieval and Gunpowder ages about six times longer. Other than that, game mechanics are untouched. I would have liked to edit the different clans to give them different advantages (ie Usuegi could have the same advantages as the Mongols, etc.) but I leave that to someone who knows what they're doing.
Anyway, I hope you have fun playing this scenario. If anything, I think the map itself could be used with random resources for an interesting game.
All of your comments are welcome.
