    amd athlon xp 1900
    geforce 3 ti 200 (driver nvidia 44.03)
asus a7v 333 bios revision 1017 (no heat problem)
    sounblaster live 5.1
    logitech mouse

My problem is that sometimes, when i want to exit the game, the game freeze just before it go to windows xp. I push the exit button and then the game freeze and all i can do is a reset (ouch!). My mouse still work but im not back to windows. How to solve that?

    You are not alone

That is my problem as well.

However, this problem only surfaced with the 1.02 patch, it didn't do this before.

I think I will reinstall and stay at baseline for a while.

I have the exact same problem, hanging on quit with 1.02... I've send a rather thorough support request to MS but we all know how long that can take. I also get the death-crash when trying to start a regular skirmish game, sometimes.

I dunno what could possibly be causing it. I have absolutely the latest version of everything and every Windows update etc. The computer is practically brand-new, hand-built, and well taken care of (no spyware crap etc.).

Here are my system specs; maybe if everybody who has this problem posts 'em we can find a connection.

AMD Athlon XP 2200+ (no, it's not overheated)
        Asus A7V8X motherboard
        512 MB RAM
Asus GeForce 4 Ti4200 (with 8x AGP and 128 MB)
        SoundBlaster Audigy 2 Platinum
        LG brand CD-ROM and DVD-ROM/CD-R
        Maxtor 80 GB disk
        Microsoft optical mouse (USB)
Generic 4-port powered USB hub (you know, $10 chop shop special)
        LifeView TV tuner/video capture card
LS-120 floppy drive (a relic from the time before CD-Rs)
        Windows XP SP1

The similarities I see right now are A7V mobos (but Tomahawk's is A7V333 and mine is A7V8X?), Athlon CPUs (different speeds though), nVidia GFX cards (of different types) with 44.03 drivers, and Windows XP SP1.
