I also have a NVIDIA TNT2 M64 32MB card. The game is stable, but very slow. (about 6 fps)
Note: I spent about 2 weeks trying to upgrade my card to something better. My motherboard does not seem to like any upgrades. Tried several and experienced severe crashes and lock-ups doing almost anything. I never even got to test RON.
Anybody got any ideas?

the trick to installing a new video card is to first uninstall the old video card (via software).
in the control panel, system, device manager, find your video card and remove it. now shutdown your pc rather than rebooting.
remove the old video card and insert the new video card and turn your computer backon. install the new video driver (it's best to download the latest driver for the new video card before removing the old card.
Thanks. I know they tried that. They even tried reformatting my entire system and reinstalling everything. We tried several cards and the only one that works with my system is the original.
I forgot to mention we also did a memory upgrade and that crashed the system also. (Yes, they used the correct memory...)
I am thinking of getting a new system. Can anyone recommend a new system that plays RON very well?

I'm seriously pondering getting a new system just because it is pretty expensive just to upgrade verything I want to. (I want to upgrade the OS, HD.) 1.2 Ghz is starting to feel a bit slow...
So can anyone recommend a system that will run RON well?
Mobo: A7N8X deluxe ~$130
Athlon XP 2800/3000+, ~$175-$300, depending on what you want
768 MB RAM (3 256 mb sticks of DDR2100) ~$75
120 GB HD ~$80 (check local flyers for a deal this good, may have mail-in rebates).
DVD ~$40 (or less, but by a good one or it'll sound like a tornado.)
CD-RW ~$40 (see above)
Case with power supply ~$50-150
Choice of midrange graphics card: ~$150
Total comes out to about $800
It's not hard to assemble yourself, all you need is a screwdriver. I assume you already have a monitor, mouse, keyboard (I'd recommend logitech cordless optical, but that's just MHO). If you take the CD-RW or other drives from your original computer, that'll save you $$.
If you don't want all that hassle, just by a dell- good value. The advantage to building your own is you know what you have. Prices from pricegrabber.com, newegg.com, googlegear.com.
