I'm a little curious why slow and expensive research wasn't used as the default. Every person I've talked to thinks the game is much better that way.

But this is Apolyton, so we have a bunch of Civ players here, who are more likely to want to play a longer game.

Many people i know don't like slow and expenisve. I don't mind it myself, but i like Normal and Slow the best i think.
