Well, apparently there were problems with it. I tried patching 3 times, but it didn't work, gave me a PATCH.ERR file with some "missing files" errors.
I did a clean install to see if that would help, but by the time I had the reinstall done, the patch had been taken down.
I suspect it'll be back up shortly._/\ C

I got the same error, but then I completely uninstalled and reinstalled the game and I was then able to install the patch successfully.
By the way, thanks for the help Carch.Firaxis - please make an updated version of Colonization! That game was the best, even if it was a little un-PC.Comment
