  • Wonder costs

After any wonder is built, the cost to build the next one goes up.

For example, when the Egyptians start the game the Pyramids cost 150f and 150t and the Colossus is available for 150t and 150w. Suppose they decide to build the Pyramids. Deciding to do this will immediately increase the cost of the Colossus by 30%, since it will now take 195t and 195w to build it.

Yes, this is called Ramping costs, and it applies to all types of buildings (wonders, barracks, stables, forts, etc). As you build one of them, the others get more expensive.

I knew about ramping costs for units and buildings. These costs are applied for identical builds.

Each wonder is unique and can not be repeated, so it was news to me to see that ramping costs are applied to them as a group.
