  • Wonder Idea: Manhattan Project

You know I'm absolutely amazed they didn't make a "Manhattan Project" wonder (since it was in the civ games) with the following effects:

Allows all countries to build nuclear weapons (if technologically available).
Makes Nuclear weapons 5% cheaper and 10% faster for host country.
Market nuclear embargo time halved for host country.

If the wonder is destroyed, nukes can still be built but the bonuses are lost

I kind of like it the way it is now where each nation has to independently develop nuclear weapons. But it is dissapointing that the development of such weapons isn't as hard or as impressive as Civ where you had to build that big wonder.

Not a bad idea...but nukes are pretty expensive to research as it is, and build. Whta I would like to see is kind of a "mini-wonder" thing, similar to civ. Each player could build one, but if it's lost, it's lost forever. So you could have something like:

Manhattan Project- "Increases power of nukes by 20%" or something. Requires 5 nukes before it can be built.

Trade League- "Traders move 25% faster and earn 10% more revenue". Only if you build a market in each city.

War Academy- "Counter units do no extra damage to infantry" Only can be built if you have a barracks and university in each city.

Advanced Soldier Training facility- "All Scouts gain paradrop ability. Produces new unit-"Gunship". Must be in Industrial age and have at least 5 airstrips.

And so forth. That way, you could get the bonuses, but there would be a heavy investment to do so.
