RoN Radio Interview Tonight @ 7:00pm (listeners ask the questions!)

In case you havn't heard TsN (The Team Sportscast Network is conducting a RoN interview with BHG Tonight at 7:00pm EST.

How do I connect?

• First off make sure you have Winamp, then check the preferences (under system==> media for winamp 3 or setup==> file types for winamp 2) to make sure winamp is your default '.pls' player.
  
• Next go to www.tsncentral.com (sometime after 6:45 est) and look for the server describing the Rise of Nations interview. Click the green text and you should have winamp open and connect for you.
  
• If that doesn't work then try clicking on winamp, do a ctrl+L to open "add location" window. Copy the link (right click on green text and "copy shortcut") and paste (control+V) into the location box on winamp. Then "open" and it should be on your playlist.

How do i ask questions on IRC?

First, if you have IRC and know how to use it, connect to irc.gamesnet.net and join #tsn. Then skip this next part.

• Go to www.mirc.com and download/install this cliant.
  
• On first opening you should be presented with a "connections" window. Fill in all the blanks (first name/email/nick) then select "gamesnet" from the drop down menu next to "IRC networks." Hit "connect to IRC server" and a new window should pop up when your connected.
  
• In this new "channels folder" click in the top box (ignore all the presets in there) and type #tsn. Now click the "join" button and you should be all set!
  
• Find my name (TsN|Bridger or OnAir|TsN-Bridger) and double click it to send me a PM (private message). My name will be near the top of the list with an @ next to it. In the Private Message chat you can send me your questions and i'll ask them on air.

How do i ask questions if mIRC isn't working for me?

• Go to www.tsncentral.com , click the "forums" and go to general discussion. Find my post and follow the instructions there.

Great interview!

I especially liked the tip that RoN (inofficially) also supports non-standard resolutions - you just have to edit rise2.ini. E.g. 1152*864 works like a charm.

insted right click it and "save target as...."

hey, I got it, thanks. I listened to that interview last night untill 2:30 in the morning. It is long, but interesting, and Bridger had some good ideas. As for thing I wanna see come in patches or XPs, beef up the Romans a little bit more!
